Employment

The success of our farm is made possible by the hard work of our crew. Each year we hire about ten seasonal employees for the growing season. Full-time farm crew employees participate in all aspects of work on the farm, from planting to weeding to harvesting to washing and packaging vegetables for sale. We offer the opportunity to work outside and learn many aspects of sustainable vegetable production using organic methods (we are not certified organic). If you are interested in gaining experience in farming, we are more than happy to share our experience, though, for some roles, prior farming experience is preferred.

Farm work is very rewarding, but it can also be very tiring and challenging. We seek to hire employees who are able to commit to the full work schedule for the duration of the farm season. The full season runs from early May through October, though some positions are only active for a portion of the season and some are part-time. We work in all weather conditions throughout a long growing season, therefore we look to hire individuals who are self-motivated, appreciate hard work, and have a sense of humor.

We are currently hiring for the positions listed below.

To apply, please send an email with a basic resume and two work references to rgmfarmer@comcast.net.

We look forward to hearing from you!
